When it comes to designing products, it’s important to remember that good design is honest design. This means that designers should not try to deceive their users or make them feel stupid. Unfortunately, there are many products on the market that do just that, and as a result, they are quickly rejected and become useless.
One example of this type of product is the “smart” water bottle that promises to track your water intake and remind you to drink more water. However, in reality, these bottles are often difficult to use, and the tracking feature is inaccurate. As a result, many people end up abandoning the bottle after a short period of time, and it becomes nothing more than a costly and useless piece of plastic.
